Susan's Real Estate License was earned in 1998, and activated at RE/MAX Preferred Properties, where she has remained an active REALTOR® and is also an Associated Broker.
A year sabbatical was taken during a time when her mother's health required more time and attention. Susan graduated from Idaho State University with a certificate in Office Occupations, utilizing that education in the business she and her husband Kevin have owned and operated for nearly 25 years, Tri-County Builders, Inc.
Her education specific to Real Estate includes completing all of the required classes for a Real Estate Brokers' License (and obtaining her Broker License), and working on her GRI designation. Most recently Susan has earned the ePRO designation, which carries the distinction of advanced training in utilizing the internet as a marketing and communication tool.
Susan has served the Greater Blackfoot Association of REALTOR®s as Membership Liaison/Financial Secretary from 2004 thru 2006. She has also held various committee positions with the same board. Susan strives to offer accurate and professional assistance in purchasing an ideal home for the conscientious buyer; as well as offering an aggressive yet personable marketing plan for one who may need to sell their real property, whether it be a home, land or commercial use.
Susan has been married for 30+ years to Kevin Caldwell and together they have three adult children, all married; and living in Southeast Idaho. She has been able to assist 2 of those children in obtaining the dream of home-ownership first hand. Susan is involved with the various activities and ministries of the local church they attend. She has led a horse 4-H, a swine 4-H and leadership clubs, and has been involved in the Blackfoot Ranch Rodeo since its inception.
Susan and Kevin enjoy the out-of-doors, riding and training horses, and live on an acreage west of Blackfoot with several dogs, their horses and a handful of cattle.
