Jean has enjoyed working in real estate for nearly 8 years.  She is an Associate Broker at RE/MAX Preferred Properties, and a Graduate of the REALTOR Institute.

Jean is a member of the Greater Blackfoot Association of REALTORS, the Snake River Regional Multiple Listing Service, the Idaho Association of REALTORS, and the National Association of REALTORS. 

Jean loves houses and people, and never gets tired of either. The daily challenge of finding the perfect home for a buyer, or getting a home sold for the seller, is exciting and fulfilling.  She can represent both buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions, and will help to educate them to make the best decisions possible.

Jean has lived in Bingham County all her life.  Prior to her real estate career she worked as a substitute teacher for many years while her children were in school.  She has been married to her husband Tom, owner of Hopkins Packing Company in Blackfoot, for 38 years.  They enjoyed raising 6 children, 1 son and 5 daughters.  They have been blessed with 9 grandsons and 2 granddaughters, with 4 more babies to be born in 2009.  They keep busy with family events, and are grateful to have all, but 1 of their children living nearby in Southeast Idaho.
