Carrie has been a REALTOR® since 1991, the owner/broker of Preferred Properties since 1996 and recently purchased the RE/MAX franchise. She has been among the top selling REALTORS® in the Blackfoot area for several years. Carrie’s honesty, integrity and ethics have been the keys to her success. She truly loves the people that she has the pleasure of working with and finds great satisfaction in helping people realize their dream of home ownership.
Carrie is a strong believer in education and holds the following designations. GRI - Graduate of the REALTOR®S Institute, CRS - Certified Residential Specialist, ABR - Accredited Buyer's Representative, PNM - Performance Network Management and is a Graduate of the Idaho REALTOR®S Leadership. Carrie is affiliated the Women's Council of REALTOR®S and has served in many State and Local offices in the past 5 years. She is the 2008 Idaho WCR State Member of the Year. She has also held many offices in the Greater Blackfoot Association of REALTOR®S, Snake River Regional Multiple Listing Service, Pocatello Multiple Listing Service, Idaho Association of REALTOR®S (IAR) and National Association of REALTOR®S (NAR).
Originally from Boise, Carrie moved to Blackfoot in 1984 with her husband Rob. Married for 34 years, they have two children: April who lives in Meridian with her husband, Jess and son, Cooper; and Andy who lives in Blackfoot with his wife Julie and daughter, Makayla and son, River. Carrie is often quoted saying that she was ‘born to be a grandmother’! Rob and Carrie enjoy spending time in the Challis area.
